Googaro: October 2013

googarobox

Googaro is a fairly new subscription service for babies, for as low as $31 a month, they send 4 or 5 full size products for babies in age groups of 0-6, 6-12 months and 1-2, 2-3 year olds. I received the box for 0-6 month old girl. This is my first box from them and since they are sooo new I was super excited to see what they had to offer!

Googaro Box OctoberIt comes all wrapped in silver tissue with Googaro bringing me a bundle of goodies from his truck!

Googaro October 2013

The box came via UPS, it got here super quick and has these cute little elephants on it, because Googaro brings bundles of joy! And this month it was Halloween joy.

Nixi Teething Bracelet

Googaro October

I have a couple of teether necklaces and they are awesome. E loves to naw on them and it keeps her busy when we are out and about. I like the idea of a teether bracelet, but just couldn’t stomach spending so much on a bracelet. Getting one in the box was great way for me to try the bracelet! It is made of food grade silicone, making it safe for baby to chew on and a statement for mommy to wear.

Retail Value: $12.95

Dr. Bronner Hand-sanitizing Spray

Googaro October Box

This is an organic sanitizer that smells good! (something that is super uncommon.) It is also organic making me feel more comfortable using it around baby E.

Retail Value: 3.99

Little Twig Baby Powder

October Googaro Box

This was a little bit of a suprise to me, I have never used baby powder and I actually thought the use of it is discouraged these days. Any who it is organic, contains aloe to sooth baby’s skin and cornstarch to help absorb the moisture. I guess I could use it for the sweaty back of the head or in her little fat creases. I’ve read that powder without talc is ok and this just happens to be free of talc and GMOs.

Retail Value: $12.50

Miyim Corn on the Cob

Googaro October

This is a sort of creepy/cute corn on the cob toy to attach to the stroller or car seat of E. We surprisingly don’t have many toys that attach to things so I’m sort of excited to give her something meant to be attached! It doesn’t hurt that it’s made from organic cotton, for happy chewing!

Retail Value: $7

Boon Odd Duck

Googaro October

This little ducky is well odd, he’s all squished and cute! Bath toys are perhaps one of E’s favoriteĀ things right now so I’m glad to have another to add to the collection. It’s PVC free and don’t hold water so there should be no mold growing in this bad boy!

Retail Value: $8.50

Little Priddy Spooky Book

Googaro October

We love books, so I welcome them into my house any day, she has more books than the average 3rd grader I’m sure! This little book is a touch and feel with different textures for E to experience and it’s Halloween themed which we don’t have yet!

Retail Value: $4.99

The entire box retails at about $50 and I paid $30 for it, so I came out ahead. A few of the products I wouldn’t have bought myself, but that’s the beauty of these boxes! The idea is to introduce you to brands you may not necessarily purchase on your own.
