Citrus Lane Box: October 2013

My Citrus Lane box came!! Whoo-hoo! I really loved last month’s box so I was super excited to receive this month’s. This box if for a 6 month old baby girl, and it’s a great way for moms to get products that are geared to a certain age child. They send products that are not always readily accessible in the stores, and has introduced me to some new brands that I’ve fallen in love with!

The box came with a pinked out label in honor of October being breast cancer awareness month. The back had these cute little mustaches for ‘Movember’ which is dedicated to raising awareness about prostate cancer! (a shame some of them were damaged in the shipping process.)

Elephant Shaker from Green Tones

Citrus Lane Box

This is a super cute elephant shaker rattle from a new company called Green Tones. It’s made of rubber wood and full of recycled pellets, the downside is it’s rated for 12+ months because the shape is sort of large for tiny hands like baby E.

Retail Value: Estimated $10-$12

Dive Bath from Boon

Citrus Lane Box

These should be great in the bath with E, she loves anything to chew on or throw around in the tub. I feel like they are a bit too mature for her quite yet to stick on the tub walls, since she is still in a baby bath. They float and can be stuck to the tub and will not absorb water making them mold resistant.

Retail Value: 10.99

Ez Grip Massaging Teether from Innobaby
Citrus Lane Box

This little number should come in handy in the upcoming months. It has a slim middle for ease of hold, and the shape is supposed to help a teething baby massage away at her painful gums.

Retail Value: $4.99

Gripe Water from Mommy Bliss

Citrus Lane Box

This is a full size herbal supplement for babies. I have actually used this product before and was disappointed with the results. E was horribly gassy and I had tried everything and nothing worked. I caved and bought this and it didn’t work for me. Moms rave about it helping with hiccups, colic, and teething, so perhaps when the teething starts we can give it another try.

Retail Value: $7.99

October’s box is valued around $30, which is more than the monthly cost so again I win price-wise. I like most of the products from this month’s box, so again I feel like it was worth the money.
